The 77,000 square foot building offers community and recreation facilities including, a fitness facility, two large gymnasiums, an eight-lane 25-meter pool, a whirlpool, and various multipurpose rooms. The site layout provides outdoor recreation areas including two large artificial turf sports fields, a children’s play area with a splash pad, two basketball courts and a skateboard plaza.       

Located in Kanata North, near the Terry Fox Drive and March Road Intersection, the Richcraft Recreation Complex-Kanata is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEEDS) certified energy-efficient, high-quality recreation/aquatic/fitness facility and community centre.​
